What I Do!

    My services are tailored to the needs of the client.  Already prepared presentations --all including creative Power Point visuals--have been developed, but entirely new programs can be prepared and presented.  I work with each client to assess needs, determine desired format, and then prepare the program.  Reformulation and new materials are included in almost all presentations.  Here are some typical services:

PRESENTATIONS:  From 20 minutes to 40 hours, on any topic concerning the future, presentations with creative power point visuals--and audience-participation exercises and discussions, if desired--will be developed and presented.

COURSES: From a half-day to a week or longer, courses on How to Study the Future, Visioning the Future, Creating the Future, Developing Creative Leadership for the Future, and other topics are offered--again tailored to the needs of the client.

WORKSHOPS:  From a half-day to a week, workshops are designed to explore a specific area of concern, develop a strategic plan, or examine alternative policies.  Techniques used range from brainstorming to trend analysis and extrapolation to Delphi to bellwether examination to scenario development.

SPEECHES:  From 20 minutes to 90 minutes or more, from keynote to graduation ceremonies, talks on any future topic will inform, excite, motivate, and inspire.

CONSULTATION:  From a conference call to site visits to a continuing contract, I bring a quarter-of-a-century plus of experience in professional "futuring" to the client--from how to examine a topic to substantive input and strategic planning.  On the topics of public policy, crime, justice, terrorism, safety, youth-at-risk, and popular culture, I add a lifetime of research, writing, and teaching.
