Gene Stephens Futurist

   Gene Stephens has more than 25 years experience as a consulting futurist, specializing in investigating the future of crime, justice, education, work and the world.  He has presented his methods and findings to more than 300 organizations--some on a continuing contract. 

   Groups seeking Stephens' services for consulting, instructing, coordinating, speaking have ranged from the National Safety Council to the Federal Bureau of Investigation to the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General.  His activities for clients have ranged from keynote to graduation speeches, interactive workshops, 20-minute to 8-hour-a-day (and multi-day) presentations, teaching futures methods and their applications to the client's operations, designing programs to help executives and policymakers envision the future, and consulting with agencies in developing strategic plans.  Topics chosen most often have been: Visioning the Future (with emphasis on the client), Creative Thinking about the Future, Creative Leadership for the Future, The World of the Future, Educating for the 21st Century, The Information-Biotech Age, High Tech and High Touch, Creating a Kinder, Gentler World....
